Train on treadmills to grow your running speed, then leap through obstacle courses across six floating worlds. Earn wins and acorns, unlock faster training belts, upgrade visible equipment and rebirth for a permanent training boost while keeping your explorers and world records. Sixty story courses lead to sixty master courses, daily challenges and endless voyages. Six animal explorers have generated skeletal movement, and each new region adds hazards including hurdles, pendulums, presses, moving islands, ice and crumbling paths. Progress is saved in your browser.
How to play
Follow the floating islands to the beacon. Jump before an edge and use one air dash to recover a long leap; landing refills it. Glowing checkpoint rings save your position within a course. A clear earns acorns and opens the next course. Earn another medal by finding all three collectibles, and a third by finishing within the displayed target time without falling. Visit the Workshop to improve ground acceleration, collection reach and air control. New explorers join every ten story clears. Daily trails unlock after five clears and use starter gear. Finish all sixty story courses to unlock the Master journey and Endless sky.
Controls
WASD or arrow keys move. Space jumps, Shift dashes in the air, R returns to the last checkpoint, P pauses and M mutes. Drag the world to turn the camera and double-click to recenter. On a touch screen, use the left joystick with the right jump and dash buttons.
Tips and strategy
- Take a small running start before jumping; hold a direction in the air to steer toward the next island.
- Your dash refills on landing. Save it for a missed jump or a crosswind.
- Brake earlier on ice and keep moving when a purple island begins to crumble.
- A checkpoint lets you recover quickly. You keep collectibles gathered earlier in the same attempt.
- Upgrades make movement more forgiving, while all story and master routes can be cleared with starter equipment.

How do I unlock more characters?
Complete ten, twenty, thirty, forty and fifty story courses to meet Fern, Miso, Ember, Ripple and Nova. Choose any unlocked explorer in the Explorers menu.
What changes after the main journey?
Completing all sixty story courses unlocks a separate sixty-course Master journey with narrower islands and faster hazards, plus Endless sky with new route seeds each voyage. Daily trails offer another repeatable challenge.
Do my upgrades carry over?
Your upgrades, acorns and story progress stay in this browser. Daily trails use starter gear so their challenge is independent of purchased upgrades.
Can I play on a phone?
The game includes a touch joystick and separate jump and dash buttons, including simultaneous movement and jumping. It requires a browser with WebGL support.
Privacy and saves
Your courses, medals, acorns, upgrades and settings are saved in this browser on this device. No account is required. Clearing browser data removes this progress. The Quokka Games portal uses the analytics and advertising described in its privacy policy.
