Word Guess

A classic five-letter word puzzle. Type a guess and the tiles flip to show which letters are in the right spot, in the word but misplaced, or not in the word at all, with correct handling of repeated letters. Play the Daily puzzle, the same word for everyone on a given date, or unlimited Practice rounds. Includes an optional Hard mode, a color-coded on-screen keyboard, saved statistics with streaks and a guess distribution, and an emoji results grid you can copy to share.

How to play

Guess the hidden five-letter word in six tries. Each guess must be a valid word. After you submit, green means the letter is in the right spot, yellow means it is in the word but in a different spot, and gray means it is not in the word. The Daily word changes at local midnight; Practice gives a new random word every round. In Hard mode, every revealed hint must be reused in later guesses.

Privacy and saves

Runs entirely in your browser with built-in word lists; no network requests. Your settings, statistics, and in-progress puzzles are stored only in this browser's localStorage. Sharing copies a text grid to your clipboard only when you press Share.
