Run a lantern-lit night market as a cat shopkeeper. Stand at a stall until the food stacks on your head, carry it to the customer cats waiting on the red carpet, and spend the paw coins they pay on new stalls, taller stacks and staff cats. Eight stalls, from fish-shaped bungeoppang to ice cream, light up the market as it grows.
How to play
Walk to a stall and stand next to it until its food stacks on your head. Bring the stack to the customer cats on the red carpet; each one shows the food it wants in a speech bubble, and walking close hands it over. Served cats leave paw coins that fly to you. Stand on a glowing unlock pad to pay coins into it and open a new stall, raise your carry limit or hire a staff cat who fetches and serves on their own. A cat that waits too long leaves angry.
Controls
WASD or the arrow keys: walk. M: mute or unmute the sound. On touch screens, drag anywhere on the game to steer with the on-screen joystick.
Tips and strategy
- Fill your stack to the limit before you leave a stall, then serve every customer along the carpet in one trip instead of running back and forth.
- Watch the ring around each customer's bubble: it drains while they wait, so serve the cats whose rings are nearly empty first.
- Unlock pads take your coins a little at a time while you stand on them, and what you already paid stays on the pad, so you can top it up later.
- Pick up the Carry +2 upgrades early. Taller stacks mean fewer trips once more stalls and customers open up.
- Hire a staff cat as soon as you can. Staff fetch food and serve customers on their own, which frees you to run the busiest stall.
Moon Cat Night Market FAQ
Does Moon Cat Night Market save my market?
No. The game keeps nothing between visits, so reloading the page starts a fresh market with one stall.
Can I play Moon Cat Night Market on a phone?
Yes. Drag anywhere on the game to steer the shopkeeper with the on-screen joystick. Serving and unlocking happen automatically when you walk close to a customer or stand on a pad.
How many stalls are there in Moon Cat Night Market?
Eight: bungeoppang, tteokbokki, yuzu tea, skewers, takoyaki, tanghulu, milk tea and ice cream. Each new stall adds lanterns and festival decorations to the market.
Privacy and saves
